What is the Multiple Travel Visa?
The Multiple Travel Visa was a process that previously, was made upon filing any process in immigration, in which the foreigner required to travel while the Visa or Residency was approved. It was made separately, and if it was not obtained, travelling without it was subject to a fine of two thousand dollars (US$2,000).
In 2022, Immigration modified the process, and now the authorization to travel while the process of Visa or Residency is ongoing, is paid and provided with the provisional ID directly.
Even if now the process is not separate, Immigration is still charging the US$50.00 dollar fee for the Multiple Entry Visa.
