Panama still is far from being a perfect country, however it will depend on you as a retiree and what are you looking for to make it a perfect place for you to live. Panama can satisfy diverse interests, from the one who loves the mountains, nature, etc., the one who loves high class living, and even if you just are a lifetime surfer who prefers to have a relax life by the beach.
Something you need to know is is that if you like extreme cold, Panama is not for you, although we do have locations like El Valle, Boquete and Volcàn that have a really cool weather. Most of the country is humid and quite hot. There are several beach areas that are highly developed, mostly in the Pacific, however our best beaches are in the Atlantic, the fact it is not that developed yet might also be an opportunity of business (investment and development).
You can take a look at our blog of information about Visas for Retirees, which is one that include diverse benefits.
Are you a retiree living in Panama already? Are you looking to retire in Panama? We are looking forward on your comments.
